McBain Charles Primary School is named after Mr. Arnold McBain Charles – the longest serving principal in the spirited history of the school.

Since 1968, Mr. Charles boldly led the school through times of social unrest, cultivating a culture of purpose and resilience as teaching, learning and institutional development remained top priority.

My one daughter started at McBain in 2007 and I've been so impressed that my second daughter finished at McBain in 2021 and my son is currently in grade 6.

Today, we celebrate the invaluable contributions of Principal Graham Mansingh, who like his predecessors, continues to carry the baton of hope, direction and guidance for the brilliant minds entrusted to him. Principal Mansingh and his management team have seen the school through a number achievements for participation in various social causes. These include:

The whole family was attending school here until up to the Secondary school, followed by my nephew that's now a lawyer and niece in grade 12,with my child now in grade six .
